Muslim clock kid Ahmed’s orgies

It all started here. Despite pulling a criminal stunt using a fraudulent clock, making fraudulent claims, to make a mockery of the American education, public safety, and justice systems; and more amazingly, despite the fact that fraud has been completely exposed, in details, Muzzy Junior and his family have continued being greeted and treated like celebrities by the filthy, corrupted mainstream media completely bought out by Saudi petrodollars, and the traitorous, shameless Libturds, trying to buy Muzzy votes and pathetically engaging in non-stop political orgies …

with Dr. Oz, the fraudulent quack selling bogus herbals with unproven, unsubstantiated claims of weight loss efficacy to unethically enrich himself.

The quack got sued by patients, demanded to be dismissed by 20 prominent doctors. “He’s a quack and a fake and a charlatan,” said Dr. Henry Miller of Stanford, the first person to sign the poison-pen letter. “I think I know the motivation at Columbia,” he continued. “They’re star-struck, and like having on their faculty the best-known doctor in the country. But the fact is that his advice endangers patients, and this doesn’t seem to faze them. Whether they’re hoping Oprah will come and endow a center for homeopathic medicine, I don’t know.”

The one-page letter was also signed by Dr. Gilbert Ross, executive director of the American Council on Science and Health. “Dr. Oz is guilty of either outrageous conflicts of interest or flawed judgments about what constitutes appropriate medical treatments, or both,” the letter concluded. “Whatever the nature of his pathology, members of the public are being misled and endangered, which makes Dr. Oz’s presence on the faculty of a prestigious medical institution unacceptable. We find it a shame that he has fled from the ethical and responsible practice of medicine to exploit his television popularity.”

The letter to Columbia mentioned the doctor’s endorsement of green coffee bean extract, raspberry ketones and the pumpkin-like fruit garcinia cambogia. “He has manifested an egregious lack of integrity by promoting quack treatments and cures in the interest of personal financial gain,” read the pointed missive.

Lee Goldman, M.D.
Dean of the Faculties of Health Sciences and Medicine
Columbia University

Dear Dr. Goldman:

I am writing to you on behalf of myself and the undersigned colleagues below, all of whom are distinguished physicians. We are surprised and dismayed that Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons would permit Dr. Mehmet Oz to occupy a faculty appointment, let alone a senior administrative position in the Department of Surgery. As described here and here, as well as in other publications, Dr. Oz has repeatedly shown disdain for science and for evidence-based medicine, as well as baseless and relentless opposition to the genetic engineering of food crops. Worst of all, he has manifested an egregious lack of integrity by promoting quack treatments and cures in the interest of personal financial gain. Thus, Dr. Oz is guilty of either outrageous conflicts of interest or flawed judgments [sic] about what constitutes appropriate medical treatments, or both. Whatever the nature of his pathology, members of the public are being misled and endangered, which makes Dr. Oz’s presence on the faculty of a prestigious medical institution unacceptable.

Sincerely yours,

Ahmed Mohamed with his father and Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir

Omar Hassan al-Bashir is war criminal, accused by the International Criminal Court for allegedly orchestrating genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes in Darfur where more than 400,000 have been slaughtered. The country he leads is under a variety of U.S. sanctions. His government harbored Osama bin Laden for five years in the 1990s, and he may have secretly stolen $9 billion in oil money. Apparently for frauster Muzzy Junior, the apple does not fall too far from the tree, nor its root.

American frustrations with traitors and Muslim appeasement

American frustrations with Muslim appeasementAmericans are increasing frustrated with what they see as unprecedented measures taken by their own government and the perennially corrupted mainstream media, to appease the Muslims, under the influence of Saudi mighty petrodollars, at the expenses of the American public and national security, even when American lives were at stake. Below are a few examples of the American public’s reaction, notably to the response from U.S. government and media reporting regarding the death of 5 U.S. servicemen in Chattanooga, brutally murdered by the Muslim terrorist Mohammad Abdulazeez. U.S. President Obama still refused to identify ISIS as ‘Islamic’, despite the fact that the ISIS stands for ‘Islamic State of Iraq and Syria”; and the FBI, undoubtedly followed the order from above, described the said terrorist as “homegrown violent extremist.”

1. American public’s comments responding to the article “Marines’ killer set off no red flags” from the Washington Post.

The comments are pretty much self-explanatory …

This is a tragic side effect of being the most tolerant nation on the planet. Immigration from Muslim countries has surged in the post 9/11 era. Thankfully the majority live here in peace but do not be deceived — as their numbers grow, more of them will be emboldened to act out in violence, demanding that our free society conform to their views instead.

Nevik Reyemein, 7/19/2015 1:44 AM EST

Watch as they grow more demanding and violent after their numbers pass the 3% mark.

Didn’t trigger any red flags? That’s what YOU think, FBI. This Islamic Terrorist Attack in our homeland (only the latest of many) triggered PLENTY of red flags in the AMERICAN conscience. If Muslims want war, they’ll get war. We see them as they are now. We know what they want now. We WILL NOT sit by and let this happen again, while our useless, Muslim loving President makes excuses and refuses to call this what it is. WE will call it what it is. No more tip-toeing, no more political correctness. ISLAMIC TERRORIST ATTACKS on the United States STOP NOW. Open Season on Americans is now CLOSED. Open Season on Muslims is now OPEN.

NO RED FLAGS!!!!! Young muslim male named mohammed, ayatollah beard, visits mid east several times including yemen, let go from sensitive job 2 years ago since he couldn’t get security clearance, father on fbi radar, possession of guns that someone had to know about, just got cozy with a mosque he wasn’t into previously. Give me a break.

Danny Goshop, 7/18/2015 4:04 PM EST

No RED FLAGS huh? Well I’ve got an idea I believe will lighten the burden of our LEO’s. How about we stop searching 84 year old grandmas or 9 year old kids or even our handicapped veterans in wheelchairs at the airport and start doing what really needs to be done…profiling those that merit profiling! I know, the next question is: “Who merits profiling?”, well, how about young men that take an interest in Islam? now I’m not just talking about pulling up info online and then moving on to something else, I’m talking about looking up info online, inquiring about the nearest Mosque, becoming a member of the nearest Mosque, growing a beard (all of a sudden), traveling to the middle east, etc… that should be a start. I’m sure y’all can handle it from there.

Publicola1, 7/18/2015 3:51 PM EST

– “Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez” travels to the Middle East for several months (Jordan, Yemen..)
– Acquires several firearms, grows a beard
– Starts posting online about his Islamic faith and that the companions of the prophet fought Jihad for the sake of Allah… and were the best human beings that ever lived.
– Father says following during divorce proceedings “…intends to take a second wife, as permitted under Islamic law and in the parties’ native State of Palestine.”

Hhhmmm – all I see are red flags here. Granted he *might* not have been carrying business cards that said “Soldier of Allah” like Nidal Hassan, but if our “intelligence/law enforcement/ant-terrorist” groups don’t see any red flags here, we might as well fire them all – they’re useless.

Rationalizt, 7/18/2015 2:30 PM EST

Six reasons why our so-called “Christian” president is dragging his feet against islam..

#1 “The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam”
#2 “The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer”
#5 “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.”
#6 “Islam has always been part of America”
#11 “Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism – it is an important part of promoting peace.”
# 100 “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

Don’t forget, folks – he really IS a muslim

Andylit, 7/18/2015 1:55 PM EST

If there was no flag it confirms the radical departure by this administration from previous practices.
Travel to Muslim nations by foreign born US residents was a major flag 6 years ago. The current administration has dismantled and stifled huge segments of our “profile” based tracking.
It is a certainty that at least some of the blame here rests firmly on Obama’s shoulders.
And before you ask how I know, my girlfriend works for Homeland and my partner’s daughter is a mid level agent for an unnamed federal agency under the Homeland umbrella. Everything you have read in the press about the restrictions placed on our intel process is true, and is only the tip of the iceberg.

John_Campbell, 7/18/2015 1:35 PM EST

It’s darn sure why the Marines and Navy were not able to fight back. Just stand their and die for the leftists anti gun agenda. This policy started under Bill Clinton. It’s been carried forward so much that even our own troops while in a middle east war zone were disarmed before a speech given by Obama. There’s your “Forward” for you. Socialist traitors.

Vinoman1953, 7/18/2015 1:42 PM EST

Mass shootings occur where liberal, anti gun rules are in place. Killers know they are safe there. Ever heard of a mass shooting at a hunting camp? At a local block shoot? Wherever free Americans can assemble with sidearms, mass shootings do not occur. They occur where oppressive govt rules prohibit the carry of firearms.

“As investigators sought to decipher the motives of the gunman”
The jihadist’s travels to the Middle East, his recent “musings” on Islam, and the investigators don’t have a clue about his motives?

Bottom Line: Not allowing soldiers to defend themselves in ANY location is gross negligence and totally inexcusable.
Thank Bill Clinton for implementing this rule as one of his first acts as president.

“Marines’ killer set off no red flags”
———————————————————————–
Set off no red flags!? What about:
1. Being an Arab
2. Just being named Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez
3. Frequent travels to Arab countries
We’ve got to get rid of our “investigators”.

Accipiter, 7/18/2015 11:49 AM EST

  1. Growing a beard as a young Muslim
  2.  Keeping a website that is heavily focused on religion

We don’t need to get rid of our watchers, though. We need to force them to be more focused.

Charles, 7/18/2015 11:45 AM EST

Red flags? No, not necessarily.
Before he was killed in Texas, I met the Muslim shooter Nadir Soofi. He was quite likeable and did not display any particular hatred. He appreciated my honesty and fair dealing with him, and tried to convert me to Islam.
However, it was Fundamentalist Islam that compelled him to go to Texas with weapons to avenge insults to the “prophet”. He was a “True Believer”.

Accipiter, 7/18/2015 11:55 AM EST

Um, as far as most Americans are concerned at this point, every young Muslim male is a suspect. If he grows a beard he is more suspect. If the women around him wear ancient clothes, he is more suspect. If he talks about his religion on the Internet = more suspect. If he tries to convert you, he is considered a radical extremist. Sorry, but American Muslims just have to Americanize and become part of the melting pot or they are not going to be less than feared by the rest of us.

Accipiter, 7/18/2015 11:39 AM EST

Any Muslim who makes a trip to the Middle East without a business reason, grows a beard and has a web presence focused on his religious beliefs is suspect as far as I am concerned. Normal young Americans don’t do those things. Well, some grow beards but that is also something to keep an eye on in young Muslims as it has religious significance not usually present for other young men. People his age, for the most part, are more interested in college/jobs, significant others and having fun.

BillyEd1, 7/18/2015 11:37 AM EST

If the NSA wasn’t aware of the danger that this person posed, then the entire NSA spying apparatus is money down the drain and a complete waste of time.

awthrawthr, 7/18/2015 11:36 AM EST

Excuse me but the killer wasn’t home grown. He was initially raised in a Muslim country. If we kept people from those countries out with RARE exceptions, five Marines would be alive today.
As for the motive, let’s take a wild hairy azzed guess. How about worldwide domination of sharia law? Did I come close?

Accipiter, 7/18/2015 11:32 AM EST

I agree that we’ve blundered around in the Middle East and made the situation worse, but, really, those people hate every one including each other. Hate is the major activity for the majority of people who live in the Middle East. We did not cause that. There is something about that part of the world that has not changed since the Middle Ages and does not want to change.

itsthedax, 7/18/2015 11:34 AM EST

I’m talking about why they hate us. I don’t care if they carry on their tribal feuds.

Accipiter, 7/18/2015 11:41 AM EST

They hate us because they hate anyone that represents a modern viewpoint. They hate anyone who challenges their radical idiocy. They would hate us just because we are successful in the modern world and their countries are mostly failures.

mcaoidh, 7/18/2015 11:11 AM EST

No, he didn’t set off any red flags. He went to Jordan “ . . . a way station for foreign fighters attempting to enter Syria, including a 22-year-old U.S. citizen who similarly went undetected during trips to Jordan before carrying out a suicide attack in Syria last year.” Nobody knows what he did there. And then, there was “Abdulazeez’s . . . acquisition of several firearms and his recent online musings about the meaning of Islam . . . “ And what was it with the beard which is sported by terrorists. No red flags there. If anyone had noted anything untoward, they would have been accused of profiling. If it looks like a duck, squawks like a duck, it must be a duck. Time to get real folks.

flynny, 7/18/2015 10:58 AM EST

One racist SC trashbag shoots people we start defacing monuments and changing our history, we allow tens of thousands would be terrorists in our country that are on the FBI watch list, they kill our kids and we don’t bat an eye. Our government is wrong on so many levels right now.

delsa, 7/18/2015 10:55 AM EST

We need to profile like we profiled hijackers in the 70’s. We need to profile the family with women in burka’s. Burkas are not religious. They are required to be worn by the women who’s men are radical and believe in Sharia. Political correctness and wanting to be like will get us all killed. We need to take down all signs stating “no gun zone”. Our entire country should be a guns allowed zone. All law abiding citizens that want a gun should go get one or two because you just never know who’d life you will save.

Daisytoo, 7/18/2015 10:54 AM EST

Let’s see, this terrorist ‘mused about the meaning of Islam’ on FB; traveled very frequently to Jordan (where did he get the $$ to do so); had a father on a terrorist watch list (removed by the Obama admin) and came from a crazy nutball Islamist Jordanian family that radically identified themselves as “Palestinian”.

The problem isn’t so much that the FBI couldn’t red flag this jihadist, it’s that his Muslim family and friends didn’t. Why? Because this kind of disgusting contempt for infidels is routine amongst Islamists here, there and everywhere.

delsa, 7/18/2015 10:39 AM EST

There were plenty of “red flags” beginning with his name, then followed by his father who was on the terrorist watch list and then suddenly taken off. His father was and probably is radical and he lived in a family where the women were wearing the, non religious, burka. This demonstrates the lack of assimilation. He had went to the middle east, paid by whom, for 10 months and was not studding French at the Sorbonne! Any Muslim needs to be watched and anyone leaving our country and traveling to the middle east should be on a very short leash when they re-enter the United States. We have plenty of ex military who could hired to do the watching. Mosques should be infiltrated. We should not be watching little old ladies or nuns? Our military should be armed when off base and so should every law abiding citizen because they are here and they are being allowed to wank among us.

CaptainOfTruth, 7/18/2015 10:37 AM EST

The only red flag need was he was a Muslim. Sorry to say it folks but it is time for profiling.
Unfortunately no one in Congress has the stones or backbone to do what is needed in this country.

mike1988, 7/18/2015 10:24 AM EST

One of the problems is that we refuse to hold the muslim community accountable for sitting idly by as their neighbors and clerics vocally support radical Islam.
They are silent accessories to murder. Our “leaders” continually state that this is not Islam. They refuse it call these terrorists “radical Islamists”. We make excuses for the Muslim community that lives around this and never says a thing about vocal supporters is radical Islam. I feel that unless they are vocally against radical Islam, they are supporting it and we should hold them accountable and begin to profile them. Any Muslim buying a gun should go on a watch list. Any Muslim going to an Arab country should go on a watch list. Any Muslim visiting a radical Islamists web site should go on a watch list. And for heavens sake, why are we letting so many Muslims into the country when we can’t keep up with the ones we have now.

Aleric, 7/18/2015 9:55 AM EST

Motives are he is a Muslim who embraced jihad and even WENT TO JORDAN TO TRAIN. How frigging stupid do you have to be to deny the facts staring you in the face. Profiling, yes 100% because its true.

Moderate62, 7/18/2015 9:57 AM EST

The stupidity of BO and his lib PC supporters goes beyond belief.

AngryWhiteDude, 7/18/2015 9:51 AM EST

Islam is a gateway to hate and murder.

Lakeesha Gobeatcha, 7/18/2015 9:42 AM EST

Four trips to the Mideast by a bearded, young, male Moslem who “blogged” (presumably on Facebook) about jihad and other Islamic insanities, and NSA software didn’t flag him? It’s evident that our Islamic, America-hating President has given the NSA orders to NOT flag Islamics.

flynny, 7/18/2015 9:40 AM EST

I dont want to see any of my fellow Americans be them Democrat or Republican Independent or Libertarian or whatever being murdered by these radicals. Close immigration from these terrorist loving countries and round up the terror watch list families here and intern them. Its just too dangerous a chance to take.

jillbo18, 7/18/2015 9:35 AM EST

Anyone remember the Russians telling us about the 2 Muslim young men that blew the legs off 30 people in Boston. What did Obama call them, oh yes, lone wolves. What did he just call this guy that gunned down 5 of our brave men. You see, lone wolf sounds so much more benign and Obama doesn’t have to say radical Muslim terrorist.

flynny, 7/18/2015 9:34 AM EST

Sorry, if we must pay the FBI to follow you around as an immigrant from these muslim countries you are not worth having here. We should gather up every single person on the FBI terror list and intern them like FDR did. No innocent American’s life is worth our stupid immigration system. We have become so stupid were going to allow terrorists into our country by the tens of thousands? Done.

Moderate62, 7/18/2015 9:32 AM EST

Notice you don’t see any crowds of muslims here in the U.S. out in the streets protesting this latest outrage in the name of their peaceful religion.
But imagine what would happen if the WAPO published a cartoon of Mohammed.

Freedom Through The Rule of Law, 7/18/2015 9:31 AM EST

When members of the armed forces are no longer safe appearing in public in uniform, within the borders of this once great nation, it’s obvious this nation has an appalling lack of leadership on several fronts. When US citizens commit acts of treason which are not even remotely recognized as such by our leaders, the nation is in serious trouble. We are at war even if our leaders lack the courage to formally declare it. Our leaders are willing to sacrifice our national sovereignty, along with the safety and security of the citizens, on the altar of multiculturalism. It’s past time for new leadership, across the board.

Dick Boba, 7/18/2015 9:24 AM EST

So, let me see if I got this straight. This guy doesn’t trigger any “red flags”. Meanwhile the rest of us are getting groped and x-rayed at the airport daily. Legal law abiding gun owners in America are being demonized and criminalized, but somebody like this gets a free pass? There’s something seriously missing in the equation folks.

drsevrin1, 7/18/2015 9:17 AM EST

My advice to my fellow countrymen. Live life to the fullest everyday because you never know when a muslim terrorist, let in by this governement, will kill you.

flynny, 7/18/2015 9:13 AM EST

No flags? His father was on the FBI watch list? NBC reported he worked at a nuclear power plant? No red flags? The whole family should of been deported if the FBI was watching them. I don’t care if they’ve done anything wrong. Immigrants from Muslim countries should be halted until the terrorism stops. Sorry.

Moderate62, 7/18/2015 9:18 AM EST

I’m sorry too and agree but PCness has blocked any discussion or recognition of the real facts:

BO(ZO) wants to bring in more. Muslims are like the Ebola virus – dangerous spreaders of hate and violence – should be quarantined and blocked from entry by all civilized countries – notice you don’t see any crowds of muslims here in the U.S. in the streets protesting this outrage – whether they pull the trigger or not they are silent accessories to murder.

jillbo18, 7/18/2015 9:05 AM EST

Look, how many times does his majesty have to tell you, Muslims are peace loving people. There are only about 10% of Muslims that want to kill us. That means there are only 120 million of them. This includes 100 % of Iran that is about to be given 150 billion dollars, a nuclear bomb and ICBMs by our so called commander in chief.

andrew23boyle, 7/18/2015 8:43 AM EST

There is a happy medium between pretending all Muslims are terrorists and pretending that there’s not a sickness within Islam that causes some of them to become radicalized.
Unfortunately, we Americans don’t seem to do nuance very well. I think we’re going to continue to ignore the problem and pretend it’s something other than what it is (radical Islamic terrorism) until we over-react (again) and do something stupid like the Patriot Act or FDR’s internment of the Japanese.

andrew23boyle, 7/18/2015 8:46 AM EST

I agree.
We need to react in a sensible and timely fashion. What we do is (basically) not react at all for a while and then over-react when there’s a big attack.
A sane reaction now that acknowledges the problem and deals with it in a reasonable way commensurate with our Constitution would help preclude an insane over-reaction in the future.

Xgovemployee, 7/18/2015 8:43 AM EST

Veterans and Patriots need to march on Washington DC to show our ruling class the sh_t will hit the fan come the 2016 elections and it would be good for them. We need to make a stand now and help our boy’s. They are sitting ducks along with most Americans living in gun controlled states. If you don’t own a gun, you should get one to protect your family.

Grandma of Four, 7/18/2015 8:43 AM EST

Has this “president” managed to get the words RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORISM out of his mouth yet? NO? I did not think so. OUTRAGEOUS!

WNCUSA, 7/18/2015 8:37 AM EST

I don’t have to wait to hear Obama’s “take” on if this is workplace violence or domestic terrorism. I know what it is and so does America. Obama can defend these Islamic Madmen until Helicopter One takes his sorry rear off the White House lawn. Obama has welcomed these Muslim Extremist with open arms. Think that might have something to do with Obama’s Dad or Step Dad or his Mother? Think that might be the reason Obama can’t bear to say “Islamic Terrorists”.

When an assumed right wing nut case commits murder, Obama immediately goes on TV and with vigorous anger condemns the action thereby promoting a wave of public outrage against those “evil” right wing fanatics.

When an apparent Islamic radical commits a similar action, Obama’s response is NOT to express public outrage. Instead, Obama makes the non-committal, almost invisible, response of the need to fully investigate before any conclusions can be reached.

I’m done with “careful”. These Muslims are a deaf mute group when it comes to denouncing their evil lot. Obama cheers them on with his silence about the element inside their religion that is KILLING, BEHEADING, BOMBING Americans. They know that under this President they can advance their agenda for “Death to America”. It’s only going to take a few more of these “tragedies” before Obama is booed off his stage. Our Celebrity President. Obama makes Donald Trump look like a shoe in.

The FBI and other government agencies are madly rushing about to determine how this terrorist from Chattanooga got inspired or brainwashed or however you want to frame it. Theyre going over his devices to see what ISIS websites he may have been visiting that may have inspired him. But really all they have to do is watch any evening network news channel or any cable news outlet where ISIS’s demands and proclamations are repeated on a daily, hourly for cable news, basis. This terrorist could have been inspired to kill just as easily by Lester or Scott as any ISIS website.

Enough of this politically correct BS. Islam is against everything our great nation is about. It is time to ban these barbarians from entering or country and it time to start killing these MEters.

Of course, no comments from forum would be complete without the overused taqiyya nonsense from the Muzzies …

Muslim males are sexually repressed, inculcated with a cult of death by the Imams and co-religionists, and project their personal failings on the latest scapegoat of the MSM and “progressive” political agitprop……..the “privileged” White American Male.

The unanswered question so far in my mind is if this youth was on psychotropic drugs, like the vast majority of the other mass killers of the past 20 years…..

Some of you guys are being racist. Muslims are people not a theology. It’s their theology that is absolutely reprehensible, not its “slaves”

Henry Trouducu, 7/18/2015 6:43 PM EST

That is what the guys who take you for a ride are looking for by staging these fake shootings…

We will see what it gives. I am curious….

As I read my way into these 3100 posts, I am amazed by the degree of disinformation people create in these post, how little actual attention they actually pay to the sparse facts we have, how determined everyone is to jump to conclusions and to hopp on the Muslim hate band wagon! This is a mindless thread of American paranoia – not worthy of further reading – sigh!

karlyg, 7/18/2015 5:04 PM EST

Good Grief – it seems that in America everything has become a red flag. Soon it will become the police state that Orwell predicted so long ago. The media is falling all over themselves and contradicting each other at every turn. How suspicious – he travelled to his homeland to become familiar with his relatives – big deal! I am a childhood immigrant transplant. We were never consulted – but there we were! I too have gone to my homeland to experience my roots and family! Frankly – it was rather disappointing! Maybe it was for him as well!

His recent statement that life is short cruel tells me that this young man has faced some bitter disappointments on who knows how many levels. He worked had to earn a degree in electrical engineering – not an easy degree, and was dismissed, probably because he failed some obscure and well followed up security check. Since then he seems to have had no luck finding a job in keeping with his credentials. His last job – three months as shift supervisor for a cable manufacturer? If that was the best I could do with my engineering degree – I would feel terribly disappointed and perhaps, hopeless.

I think this is more about ‘suicide by cop’ than it is about terrorism. When merely and Arabic name can raise so much suspicion and rejection – what do we expect!

Looks like another false flag op- designated by the Neocons to torpedo the Iran deal.

Funny, ain’t it. 3-5 million American Muslims don’t shoot anyone, 1 goes on a shooting spree, and some bright boys draw the conclusion that Muslims are likely to go on shooting sprees. This is America, folks, people from all backgrounds go on shooting sprees…

16,000 plus murders in the USA each year.

I like to ignore all the bad things that good old American folks do and focus entirely on the bad things that funny-looking people do.

Everyone agrees that the responsibility falls on this crazed murderer, & I haven’t seen anyone here make any real excuses for his violent & tragically evil actions (but admittedly I haven’t read many posts here).

I think some others are simply saying that high-powered rifles w/large magazines make it possible for any psycho to kill off large numbers of victims before they have to change magazines, whereas a rifle w/a smaller mag would force the gunman to have to reload much more often & before he could kill nearly as many people in the first hail of rounds, while allowing others to rush & subdue him before he could reload.

Is it worth it to allow sales of “assault-style” rifles w/large magazines for entertainment/shooting range purposes only, as they are not suitable for hunting or for self-defense at home, so that potential mass murderers can buy & use them to kill many larger groups of victims?

Giantsmax, 7/18/2015 4:09 AM EST

There seems to be a big disconnect between what the neighbors and school associates said he was and the person who did the event. I am sure some bit of mental illness was involved, if only that he changed somehow, maybe not a chemical thing.

It just shows how hard it is to protect people when someone goes crazy. The best way is to allow the recruiters to have some protection they can use if needed, and to find everything possible of what turned this young man from a seeming well adjusted kid to what he became on the last day of his life. Something had to happen, that we know.

birchbank, 7/18/2015 5:07 AM EST

In a way all the radical mass murderous jihadists in Syria & ISIS ARE severely mentally ill psychos. They certainly don’t follow the Koran, or the peaceful lifestyles enjoyed by 99+% of the rest of the 1.6 BILLION more tolerant & respectful Muslims in the rest of the world, from Morocco to Egypt to Bangladesh to Indonesia, & from Nigeria to Turkey to Uzbekistan etc.

So like, we should deport all the youngish white guys, cuz white guys are most often your serial killers and mass murderers, according to the stats??

Free in North Texas, 7/18/2015 4:00 AM EST

No. There is no worldwide ideology that binds white guys to the obligation to kill, rape, enslave and beat non white guys as there is such an obligation in the Qur’an, the Sunnah and the Hadiths.

kumarswamy, 7/18/2015 2:50 AM EST

Looks increasingly like directionless troubled person with chaotic family background. But again who knows. However, FBI should be appreciated for their professional attitude in not leaking information unlike the attorney and the politicians, who at a time did not care to utter things, when the sensitivities and emotions run high against a minority population putting their lives under danger in smaller towns and cities. And the Gun culture seems to be a major threat to the US that no body seems to talk about.

birchbank, 7/18/2015 3:18 AM EST

We’ll know more when the FBI finishes analyzes & releases all the online blogs, posts & websites this guy has written & communicated with or at least sought out. But it appears so far that he was a radicalized Islamic “jihadist” lone wolf, not directed by ISIS to perpetrate these attacks, nor even officially affiliated w/ISIS. That does not allow ISIS to escape culpability, as their ultra-violent jihad obviously incited him to commit these mass murders.

Although I am not against owning guns, esp for hunting & home protection, I oppose allowing the sale of “assault-style” rifles which carry huge magazines, so that mass murderers can use them to fire too many rounds before they have to reload (w/smaller magazines, when they have to reload more often they can be more easily rushed & subdued before more victims are shot.) And I don’t think that the purported right to use such large magazine rifles as entertainment justifies the potential for more tragedies. I also oppose concealed weapons permits given out for just about anyone, as it creates a Wild West atmosphere, & I’m sure that after a few years of this the statistics will show that more carriers of guns killed innocent people during road rage & other incidents than justifiably shot would-be criminals committing felonies.

Rimfire, 7/18/2015 4:15 AM EST

“And the Gun culture seems to be a major threat to the US that no body seems to talk about.”

Probably because 99.9% of the guns in the country are not used in crimes.

States (Florida and VA come to mind) have issued conceal carry permits for decades and your wild west scenario has not occurred.

fijitifi, 7/18/2015 2:29 AM EST

No red flags because in the US having weapons, being violent, and then killing people, has become the norm.
Even the NRA thinks it perfectly normal to be able to obtain high power killing weapons with ease and the NRA is not run by terrorist sympathizers, or so one would hope.

Actually waterborn disease is the number one killer on the planet.
Kills far more folks each year than violence or Muslims or any other single cause.

My theory is it isn’t one thing that makes a person go crazy but requires several factors. I think the DUI charge was the final straw for him. Maybe he rationalized that everything was working for him and was content to live in peace. Then, he thought in his mind the DUI charge would make his life miserable and had a few other things stressing him in life.
